The “Instrumentation, Metrology, and Standards for Nanomanufacturing” report, released in November, 2008 highlights results of a nanotechnology workshop that convened by the Interagency Working Group on Manufacturing R&D in October, 2006. This workshop addressed the technology challenges and research needs associated with nanomanufacturing, with particular emphasis on instrumentation, metrology and standards requirements. This Report highlights those discussions and set s the stage for development of innovative solutions and results for the nanomanufacturing and nanotmetrology communities.
