Luis Arguello, Sr., is the President, and Chief Executive Officer of DemeTech Corporation, a manufacturer of medical supplies, including surgical sutures and blades. DemeTech is headquartered in Miami, Florida. Nearly all of their employees’ positions are attributable to exports, which make up 95 percent of their total sales. Demetech received the 2010 Small Business Exporter of the Year award from the Export-Import Bank, and the Presidential "E" and "E Star" Award from U.S. Department of Commerce. Mr. Arguello also sits on the Ex-Im Bank’s Advisory Committee, representing small businesses.
