Richard M. Beyer
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Freescale Semiconductor, Inc.
Richard Beyer has served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Freescale Semiconductor since 2008. Prior to joining Freescale, Mr. Beyer was CEO and Director of Intersil Corporation after it acquired Elantic Semiconductor in 2002, where Mr. Beyer had been President and CEO. Mr. Beyer has held leadership positions at VLSI Technology, National Semiconductor Corporation, and a variety of telecommunications and computer firms. Freescale Semiconductor offers power management solutions, microprocessors, microcontrollers, sensors, radio frequency semiconductors, analog, and their mixed signal circuits and software technologies are embedded in products used around the world. Freescale Semiconductor has more than 20,000 employees in over 20 countries with revenue at $5.2 billion. Mr. Beyer serves on the Board of Directors of the Semiconductor Industry Association.
