Daniel DiMicco
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Nucor Corporation
Mr. DiMicco has been Nucor’s President and Chief Executive Officer since 2000 and was elected Chairman in May 2006. With 20,400 employees and over 200 locations, Nucor is the largest steel producer in the United States and the world’s foremost steel recycler. Mr. DiMicco began his career with Nucor in 1982 at Nucor Steel in Plymouth, Utah. Mr. DiMicco served as Vice Chairman from June 2001 to May 2006, was an Executive Vice President of Nucor from 1999 to 2000 and Vice President from 1992 to 1999, serving as General Manager of Nucor-Yamato Steel Company. Prior to Nucor Corporation, Mr. DiMicco was employed at the Republic Steel Corporation. Mr. DiMicco is a past Board member of the Manufacturing Council.
