Peter Ungaro is President and Chief Executive Officer of Cray Inc., headquartered in Seattle, Washington, with 872 employees. Cray Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, markets and services high-performance computing (HPC) systems, commonly known as supercomputers. Cray sells its products throughout the United States and in Canada, Europe, Japan and Asia-Pacific. Its supercomputer systems are installed at more than 100 sites in over 20 countries, and allow users to address scientific and engineering computing problems. Mr. Ungaro previously served as Senior Vice President at Cray Inc. from May 2004-August 2005, responsible for sales, marketing and services, and from August 2003-September 2004, he served as Vice President responsible for sales and marketing. Prior to working at Cray, Mr. Ungaro worked at IBM from 1991-2003 where he held a number of leadership positions including Vice President, Worldwide Deep Computing Sales and Vice President, as well as Worldwide HPC Sales.
